After hours long consultation (Item 5040) - $160.00 - Medicare rebate $83.95 - Out of pocket fee $71.05

After hours extended consultation (Item 5060) - $200.00 - Medicare rebate $117.75 - Out of pocket fee $77.25

Please Note: There may be added costs and high out of pocket expenses for some services within the clinic and services we may need to refer you to.

Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor. Standard consultations are 15 minutes although if you require more time or are unsure, please discuss with our trained receptionists to book in a longer consultation. If you or a family member require a language interpreter, we can organize this for you - please mention this to us when making the appointment

Emergencies will be given priority and our receptionists will attempt to contact you at the first opportunity if there are any unforeseen delays. 


Contacting Your Doctor

Doctors may be contacting during clinic opening hours. If you doctor is with a patient, a message will be taken and the reception staff will advise you when it is likely that your doctor will return your call. 


Fees and Billing Arrangements

Fee's are payable at the time of the consultation by cash, EFTPOS, MasterCard, VISA and American Express. The AGPAL (Australia General Practitioners' Accreditation Limited) fee structure forms the basis of our billing policy and is displayed in the reception are of the clinic. All fees must be settled on the day of treatment, if you have any difficulty paying our fees, please discuss it with your doctor. 



On-the-spot claiming means that you save a trip to a Medicare branch. Patients are encouraged to provide Medicare Australia with their bank account details to speed up the process. Providing Medicare with your bank account details is secure, easy and you only have to do it once. 

After you've paid the bill in full, our practice will send you claim electronically to Medicare through a secure internet connection. Medicare will then pay your rebate directly into your nominated account within 2 to 3 working days. 

Register your bank details first by logging in online or by calling 132 011 (24 hour service) or in person at your local Medicare office or by completing an Electronic Funds Transfer details collection form available from our website or your local office.
